My name is Caleb Bailey. I'm a high-school student and I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
How's that for an introduction? Most people agree that first impressions are the ones that last the longest and after those two sentances I don't see how you can't like me. Well maybe a little bit.

As I'm sure you've surmised by now, this is my homepage. Herein are my choice movies, books and software (computer games mostly).

The Internet is THE fastest growing technology in the world today. It is quickly becoming the dominant form of communication , taking the place of the telephone and postal service (snail-mail). This growing sector of today's society holds many promises and opportunities. For people like me, it presents an abundance of opportunity to learn.

There. I said it. That is what I do in my spare time. Learn. In fact I try to learn as much as I can since (frusteratingly) my school seems to like to take its sweet time in educating me. And thus, I've created this website so that you too may share in my knowledge because that is part of what knowledge is for. Those who have it should share it. The links section of this website contains links (surprisingly) too numerous websites some of which are my own and others which aren't. These sites offer vast riches not in the form of wealth, but in the form of information.

And information is where true wealth lies. Do you think Bill Gates became the richest man in the world because he's stupid? What wins wars? Decides elections? Makes dreams come true? That's right, information and knowledge.

The abundance of information on the Internet is the reason why it is one of my favourite places to be. It also why I believe that the Internet will be among the most important technological development in the history of humankind.
